Military students in a biology class

STEM Bound Program

STEM Bound is focused on first-generation college students, students of color, and those who have been underrepresented in STEM fields. The program is a cohort model where students completing a STEM program build relationships with other STEM students and faculty through similar courses and co-curricular activities. We hope that the support students receive from this program will provide them with skills needed to successfully complete a higher-level STEM degree and become part of the STEM workforce.

Pierce College offers a comprehensive program that includes advising, direct contact with STEM faculty, and support in the completion of STEM-related degrees. The program starts in the summer and continues throughout the school year.
